For those who aren’t aware, Thanksgiving is the most widely traveled holiday in America. I would like to know what all of my readers (all 2 of them;)) will be doing for Thanksgiving. I’ll be very fortunate to travel with my wife for most of November. We will be going to Aruba for 5 days to visit my sister and her family. Her husband works for U.S. Customs in Aruba. This will probably be their last winter in Aruba before relocating to Washington D.C. After our visit to Aruba, we will be flying to Tampa, FL to spend time with my parents for the remainder of the Thanksgiving holiday.
My family and I love to play golf, watch football, partake in nightly cocktail hours, and eat a substantial amount over Thanksgiving. What are your family traditions?
I am a huge Florida Gator fan! I know we have lost 4 games this year but it does not diminish the lively atmosphere of The Swamp in Gainesville, FL. The University of Florida plays Florida State University at home on Saturday the 26th. It’s a tradition of ours to attend this game when it is held over Thanksgiving weekend.
