What A Difference A Year Makes

by Rob on June 27, 2012

I wanted to share some statistics with my blog followers about the substantial improvements that can be made in a real estate office in one year’s time. As most of you know, my local San Diego real estate business is with the franchise Keller Williams La Jolla. On June 15, 2011, we welcomed a new Team Leader (office manager) to our market center by the name of Ralph Odierna. He came to us as a successful manager who had turned around under-performing offices in the Los Angeles area. June 15, 2012, marked his one year anniversary as our Team Leader. Below is a chart of the percentage improvement from our office over the past year:

Closed Units 150%

Closed sales Volume 129%

Listings Taken 177%

Listing Taken Volume 145%

Listings Sold 175%

Listings Sold (Volume) 160%

Contracts Written 156%

Contracts Written (Volume) 145%

Closed GCI (Gross Commission Income) 155%

There are many reasons for improvement in these figures, but I’ll highlight just a few. We owe much of this to Ralph and his coaching style, energy, leadership and mentorship. His leadership has made the agents in our office better advisers to our clients. His energy and passion has attracted other great agents to our team. Since the quality of our agents has improved, we provide better service to our clients. Because we have become better advisers to our clients, our clients trust our advice when we educate them on current market conditions. The market has certainly shifted since the New Year. All of these factors have led to the great turnaround in sales numbers at the Keller Williams La Jolla Market Center.
